about me

A while back when I was going through an old board game that I had played with as a child, I found the first piece of jewelry I remember making. It is a ring that my Dad had made for me by carving out the center of a buckeye. After
he was finished, I carved an indentation in the top of the
ring and glued in a rhinestone.

I still enjoy mixing the natural with the sparkly.

In my jewelry pieces I use many different components, but tend to favor mostly freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and semi-precious gemstones. I carefully choose colors and textures and shapes that I feel work together to make pieces that I myself would wear. In fact, often I don’t want
to let them go!

Most findings, accent beads, and wire on the pieces are sterling silver, brass, copper, pewter or occasionally gold-filled. The pieces are generally one of a kind. Even though some pieces look similar, they will have different accent beads or be combined in a different manner; and because of the variations in natural stones and shells, they will have different colors and shapes, therefore resulting in an individual look.

If you would like jewelry made from a particular stone, or would like something made in a certain color, just contact me and I will do my best to work with you in creating a custom piece.
